Aperture, Shutter Speed and IOS

Aperture

1. You should relate aperture to the human eye because it adjusts depending on the amount of light

2. The smaller aperture the more light, the higher the aperture the less light

3. The smaller the aperture the less depth of field, the higher the aperture the more depth of field
f2.8

Shutter Speed

1.

With Sunlight

High Shutter speed (a)(b)(d)(f)
Low Shutter speed (c)(e)

Without sunlight

High Shutter speed (f)(d)
Low Shutter speed (c)(e)

2. The three settings the camera has regarding shutter speed are Manual, Shutter priority, and Aperture Priority. In Shutter Priority you set the shutter and the camera automatically sets the aperture for you. In manual you set the aperture and shutter speed annually. And in Aperture priority you set the aperture but the camera sets the shutter speed on its own.

Iso

1. The advantages of shooting at a high iso at Basketball game or night football game is that it reduces blur and allows ultra fast shots

2. The author suggests to always use the lowest ISO possible when there is plenty f light so you will capture details

3. The author suggests that anytime you shoot indoor without a flash to set the ISO high so that it doesn't come out blurred
